The recent discussion over the fate of William Walker's All of Mankind mural in the old Cabrini Green area got me to thinking about other murals in the city. The above artwork is painted on a store at 79th and Maryland.

Local publisher Ivan R. Dee published this book back in 2000 on murals (and other forms of public art):

Unfortunately, as you can see if you click on the link, the web page says the book is out of stock. I have a beat up copy (my girls loved the book, but were not gentle while reading it multiple times) which I'd be happy to send you if you are interested.
