Emmanuel Presbyterian Church: Demolished

I'm a little bummed about the recent demolition of this modernist jewel in the city's Pilsen community. The top view is from about four months ago. The poignant series of photos that follow were taken last weekend by photographer Ben Seese via flickr.

It is absolutely pitiful. I don't know whether to scream or cry.
In my view, this is one of Dart's most striking and innovative designs, and great solution on kind of a difficult site.
